How Stitch works

One event. Every angle. One live story.

Contributors capture an event from their phones, a Creator directs the best feed, and Spectators watch one coherent live programme.

Watching is free. See what a plan adds

From cameras to programme

Four parts, working as one

Each person gets a focused view of the same event while Stitch keeps the live story connected.

  1. 1

    Create the event

A Creator schedules the event, adds the details, and invites people to contribute camera feeds.

  2. 2

    Capture every angle

Contributors open their invitation, allow camera and microphone access, and broadcast from their phones.

  3. 3

    Direct the live cut

The Creator monitors the feeds, guides Contributors, and chooses the angle that is live.

  4. 4

    Watch and take part

Spectators watch the directed programme, preview available angles, vote, and return to published replays later.

What you need

Stitch runs in the browser. There is nothing to download for any role.

A recent browser

Any up-to-date browser on a phone, tablet, laptop or connected screen.

Camera and microphone

Contributors grant access once, in the browser prompt. Spectators need neither.

A steady connection

Contributors can pick a data-saver, balanced or high-quality preset for a weak signal.

An account

Free to create. Reminders, follows and voting need you signed in.

For Contributors

Follow the Dot

The Dot gives every camera operator an immediate, silent signal from the live production. No talkback, no guesswork — just look at the colour.

Grey
Recording is active; improve the feed quality.
Amber
The feed is ready and waiting on standby.
Green
Get ready—the feed may be selected next.
Red
You’re live in the programme right now.

Common questions

Still wondering

How many cameras can one event have?

A single phone works, and so does a crew covering different vantage points. Your plan sets how many feeds can broadcast at once.

Do Contributors need their own account?

Yes, but it is free and the invitation link walks them through it. They only get access to the event they were invited to.

Can Spectators see the feeds that are not on air?

They can preview the other angles and vote on them, but only the Creator decides which one is in the programme.

What happens when the event ends?

The recording is processed into a replay. The Creator chooses whether to publish it, and published replays keep your watch position.

Does it cost anything to watch?

No. Browsing and watching public events is free. Plans matter once you start creating events.

Can I keep an event off the public listings?

Yes. An event can be public, unlisted so only people with the link can watch, or private and guarded by an access code you can rotate.
